The Empirical Microeconomics Laboratory (EMiL) brings together researchers from the Department of Economics and Management (University of Trento). Our research interests cover areas of empirical microeconomics, in particular trade, industrial dynamics, firms' heterogeneity, labour, education, migration and development.
The aim of the Laboratory is to promote empirical research with sound theoretical foundations, applying appropriate econometric methods. Research within the group adopts a microeconomic perspective using firm, individual, sectoral and regional data.
